Customer Journey Expert – Payments

About the role

ING is seeking a Customer Journey Expert for Payments to shape and deliver next‑generation payment solutions for corporate and financial institution clients. You will own functional delivery across the full payment value chain, collaborating with Wholesale Banking, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology and Engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end delivery of SEPA, Domestic and International Payments initiatives, from requirement clarification through go‑live and continuous improvement.
• Translate product priorities, client needs and regulatory requirements into functional specifications, epics, features and delivery roadmaps.
• Prepare and execute functional and user acceptance testing, manage defects and ensure successful rollout.
• Monitor product usage, incidents and client feedback, turning insights into concrete enhancements.
• Work with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Security and Data teams to ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in product delivery, business analysis, customer journey management, digital banking or payments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Turkish is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile environments with distributed international teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SEPA, Domestic and International Payments (or ability to develop quickly).
• Agile methodology and product delivery experience.
