Cyber Security Engineer – Enterprise Security Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to lead the operation and continuous improvement of our enterprise security portfolio. You will work closely with network, system, application and SOC teams to protect the organization against evolving threats.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end operations of security products such as firewalls, IPS/IDS, WAF, DDoS mitigation, EDR/XDR, web & mail security, and DLP.
• Install, configure, maintain and oversee the lifecycle of assigned security systems.
• Monitor platforms, perform performance tracking, capacity planning and vulnerability assessments.
• Develop and execute remediation plans for identified risks and support incident response activities.
• Implement and continuously improve security policies, standards and procedures.
• Research, evaluate (PoC) and deploy new security technologies.
• Provide technical support for audits, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports and status presentations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to strengthen overall security architecture.
• Prioritize tasks to ensure uninterrupted security operations in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Engineering degree from a university.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar security engineering role.
• Hands‑on experience with firewalls, IPS/IDS, WAF, DDoS, EDR/XDR, web & mail security, and DLP solutions.
• Basic knowledge of networking and system concepts.
• Proven ability to manage, monitor and improve security products.
• Strong planning, documentation and reporting habits.
• Analytical thinking, problem‑solving and results‑orientation.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced operational environment.
