Data Analyst

About the role

iyzico, a payment technology company acquired by PayU in 2019, is looking for a Data Analyst. You will partner with product, business and operational teams to turn data into clear, actionable insights that support data-informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Work with product, business and operational teams to understand business problems, define key success metrics and support data-driven decisions.
• Run deep-dive and ad-hoc analyses to find trends, root causes, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions to track business performance, product initiatives and key metrics.
• Structure analytical problems independently, build strong hypotheses and turn findings into clear recommendations.
• Monitor business and product performance, identify emerging trends and investigate their drivers.
• Keep analytical models, queries and reports aligned with changing requirements and data structures, and help automate recurring analysis and reporting.
• Communicate results through clear narratives, visualizations and presentations for different stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or a related quantitative field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics or a similar role.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and organizational skills; ability to work independently and manage several requests at once.
• Good understanding of statistics, analytical methods and KPI development.
• Ability to turn ambiguous business questions into structured analytical problems.

Required skills

• Strong SQL and hands-on work with relational databases and large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar.
• Nice to have: Python or similar languages, fintech/payments experience, A/B testing or product analytics, and familiarity with generative AI tools.
