Director of Mobile Games User Acquisition

About the role

The Director of Mobile Games User Acquisition will lead the growth strategy for a portfolio of mobile games, owning the systems that drive profitable user acquisition at scale. You will define channel strategies, optimise investment decisions and build sustainable acquisition engines across key global markets while collaborating closely with creative, product and data teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the user acquisition strategy and performance‑marketing roadmap for flagship titles and the broader portfolio.
• Manage UA budget and P&L, scaling volume while maintaining strong ROAS in Tier 1 and Tier 2 markets.
• Define and execute channel strategies across Meta Ads, Google UAC and other acquisition platforms.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of UA specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Partner with creative teams to develop, test and optimise performance‑driven advertising assets.
• Build reporting frameworks linking spend to player LTV, retention and profitability.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to improve attribution, measurement infrastructure and MMP setups.
• Provide strategic UA guidance to other product teams and scale best practices across the portfolio.

Required profile

• 5+ years of senior‑level experience in mobile user acquisition, preferably within gaming.
• Proven track record of scaling games profitably through performance marketing.
• Strong analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence business decisions.
