Director, Product Management, Cardholder Services

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a senior leader to drive the product strategy for its Cardholder Services portfolio. The role will shape the roadmap, influence market positioning, and ensure the delivery of innovative solutions that enhance the customer value proposition.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously identify opportunities for new product features, extensions and enhancements to support different market segments and meet customer needs.
• Provide thought leadership on competition, industry trends, product functionality, and the evolution of tools and strategies for potential improvements to the platform.
• Ensure seamless platform releases from all aspects of product deployment, including high‑impact product positioning, sales support, messaging, launch strategy and market segmentation to drive optimum growth.
• Provide product expertise for internal and external sales and customer interactions as necessary.

Required profile

• Extensive background in product development lifecycle delivery with demonstrated experience in developing innovative segment and product solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly understand, utilize and evangelize new technology.
• Superior customer communication skills, both written and oral.
• Proven accountability and results‑driven mindset with passion, ambition and aptitude.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable thriving in the ambiguity of a lean, agile team.
• Expertise in product feature management, product development or business development, ideally in card payments, mobile payments, e‑commerce and/or banking; merchant acceptance background is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or an analytical field, or equivalent work experience.
