Facility and Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Facility and Maintenance Manager leads the shipyard’s facility function, ensuring safe, continuous, and efficient operation of all infrastructure, internal transport, and security services. This role coordinates multidisciplinary teams to support uninterrupted production and delivery activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate facility maintenance, technical services, internal transportation, and security teams.
• Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and infrastructure systems.
• Manage internal transport equipment such as forklifts, trailers, cranes, and manlifts.
• Supervise external service providers and contractors, monitoring contractual performance.
• Coordinate new facility investments, renovations, and infrastructure improvements.
• Oversee vessel movements, lifting operations, and related logistics during production.
• Manage manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of cradles, platforms, and supporting equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and manage the annual maintenance and operational budget.
• Analyze maintenance performance and equipment failures to drive improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in facility management, maintenance, or industrial operations.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary maintenance teams in manufacturing, shipbuilding, or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and infrastructure maintenance.
