Financial Affairs Manager

About the role

MINDPICKED is seeking an experienced Financial Affairs Manager to oversee the company’s financial and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial accounting, cost accounting, budgeting and reporting, with hands‑on SAP experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all financial accounting and reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Control cost accounting activities, including product costing, variance analysis and cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Prepare, monitor and update annual budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with Turkish accounting standards, tax legislation and company policies.
• Coordinate month‑end, year‑end closing, cash‑flow monitoring and external audit processes.
• Utilize SAP ERP (FI/CO) for accounting, reporting and cost accounting functions.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, sales and other functions to improve financial performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP FI/CO modules.
• Good knowledge of Turkish accounting standards and tax legislation.
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Fluent in English with strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
