Fleet Operations Responsible

About the role

The Fleet Operations Responsible will manage the entire lifecycle of Bosch's vehicle fleet, from readiness for use through end‑of‑life disposal. This role ensures smooth operation of fleet management processes, compliance with legal requirements, and high service quality for internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the full vehicle lifecycle, coordinating readiness, usage, and decommissioning via fleet management software.
• Handle registration, insurance, and other onboarding tasks for new vehicles, liaising with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Procure and monitor fuel cards, toll devices (UTTS, HGS/OGS) and ensure timely legal compliance.
• Manage vehicle hand‑over to users, providing guidance on fleet procedures and company applications.
• Plan, coordinate and track maintenance, inspections, repairs, tyre changes, roadside assistance and service activities.
• Monitor performance of service providers to sustain quality standards.
• Oversee accident, damage and insurance processes, including documentation and claim handling.
• Coordinate replacement‑vehicle procedures when needed.
• Conduct end‑of‑use vehicle returns, inspections and related paperwork.
• Maintain accurate records of registration, insurance, mileage, damages and costs.
• Prepare reports on utilization, maintenance and damage costs, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Supervise telematics, GPS and other digital fleet solutions, coordinating with providers.
• Share improvement ideas and user feedback with relevant parties to enhance processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in vehicle operations and user support within fleet management.
• Familiarity with fleet management software and vehicle tracking systems.
• Strong organizational, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
