Food Safety and Quality Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) Manager to join our manufacturing site in Turkey. The role is responsible for ensuring that products meet the highest safety and quality standards from the production line to the consumer, while leading a team and collaborating with cross‑functional partners.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the global food safety and quality vision, aligning with corporate and business‑unit strategies.
• Lead food safety, regulatory compliance and quality management within the factory, supporting the Site Manager.
• Monitor and drive key FSQ metrics, continuously improving safety mindset and standards.
• Identify and execute improvement projects to reduce risk, cost and support strategic objectives.
• Manage food safety and quality incidents, including product recalls, withdrawals and serious events.
• Oversee quarantine, disposal of defective goods and ensure manufacturing processes meet specifications.
• Maintain crisis‑management systems, mock recalls and traceability processes.
• Partner with Commercial, Operations, R&D and Legal to assure compliance with international and local food laws.

Required profile

• Food or Dairy Technologist / Engineer with more than 10 years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing, R&D or quality.
• Proven ability to assess risk, make decisions and lead teams.
• Strong collaborative mindset, able to engage peers and stakeholders and act on feedback.
