Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory Supervisor

About the role

The Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory Supervisor will implement food safety management systems and ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements at an assigned facility. You will lead a team, support leadership, and drive continuous improvement in food safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory activities, ensure plant compliance, and act as liaison with external regulatory authorities.
• Evaluate SOPs, master schedules, verification processes, and customer food safety requirements.
• Serve as intermediary between customers and the facility for product performance reviews, audits, and complaint handling.
• Implement product specification systems and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in plant tours, audits, and various safety, regulatory, and process improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum four years of related experience and at least one year of supervisory experience.
• Proven leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal effectiveness.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Good Laboratory Practice and instrumentation knowledge.
• Root Cause Analysis and problem‑solving skills.
• Process auditing experience.
