Full-time Cook – Istanbul

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our kitchen team at a prestigious hotel in Istanbul. The successful candidate will prepare high‑quality dishes, maintain food safety standards, and support a smooth operation in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring and mixing.
• Cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and complete food preparation checklists.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers and other kitchen equipment safely.
• Test and monitor food for proper cooking temperature and overall quality.
• Set up and break down work stations, serve food in correct portions, and maintain a clean, disinfected kitchen area.
• Check appliance and food temperatures, and follow all safety, security and hygiene policies.
• Communicate professionally with team members and support a collaborative work environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related kitchen or food‑service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and carry objects up to 25 lb throughout the shift.
