Game Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Game Developer to join ROQ Games. You will work with a cross‑functional team to create new game concepts, prototype quickly, and deliver high‑quality playable experiences for mobile audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new games from early prototypes to polished releases.
• Implement gameplay mechanics, systems, features and UI using Unity.
• Collaborate closely with designers, artists and other engineers throughout development.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on ideas, leveraging AI‑assisted tools for coding, debugging and research.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable C# code and improve overall technical quality.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve performance and gameplay issues.
• Contribute to technical decisions and help optimise development workflows.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional game development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Unity and C#.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming and software development principles.
• Hands‑on experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or GitHub Copilot in a real development workflow.
• Creative problem‑solving ability and attention to gameplay quality.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.
• Genuine interest in mobile and casual gaming.
