Game Developer (Unity, C#) - On-Site Istanbul

About the role

A mobile game studio that has built games ranking at the top of iOS and Android with over 150 million fans worldwide is looking for a Game Developer to join its team in Istanbul. This is an on-site role working 5 days a week from the office in Levent, and the company encourages candidates to get familiar with its games before applying.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to all aspects of game development.
• Write clean, reusable and optimized code used by millions of players.
• Solve complex technical problems with analytical solutions.
• Participate in code-review sessions.
• Drive the implementation of features or fixes and communicate clearly with designers, artists and project managers.

Required profile

• Game development experience in Unity and C#.
• Ability to profile and optimize performance on Android and iOS.
• Quickly gets up to speed with existing code and solves technical problems as a team.
• Strong object-oriented skills, including design, coding and testing patterns.
• Eager to learn new technologies and with analytical, practical problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• Unity and C#; deep knowledge of a fundamental Unity pipeline such as asset management, UI or networking.
• Maintainable, scalable, modular code with SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Understanding of mobile gaming, FPS and LiveOps, and of mobile platform requirements.
