German-Speaking Java Developer

About the role

Adesso Turkey is looking for a German-speaking Java developer to join its self-organised team and help build enterprise-level products for local and global markets. You will work closely with consultants, product owners, UI/UX designers, QA teams and mobile, backend and frontend developers.

Key responsibilities

• Implement product requirements, user stories and epics as maintainable, testable and high-performing software.
• Collaborate with project members to define technical specifications and API design.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and take ownership of project quality, resolving defects proactively.
• Take part in code reviews and comprehensive testing.
• Migrate solutions to newer technologies and share findings with the team through Tech Talks.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of Java software development experience (Java 11+).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Experience with microservices and SOA architectures.
• Very good German language skills.
• Experience in a Scrum or Agile environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of JPA/Hibernate and Spring modules.
• Git.
• Plus: unit testing, mocking frameworks, TDD, CI/CD pipelines, clean code, cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
