Head of Finance

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established FMCG company in Izmir to find a Head of Finance. This senior leader will oversee the full spectrum of finance operations and act as a key member of the executive team, driving strategic financial planning and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all finance functions, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, and internal controls.
• Drive annual budgeting and strategic planning processes, ensuring accurate forecasts and performance tracking.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and shareholders.
• Ensure compliance with Turkish statutory, tax, and corporate governance requirements.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, and treasury operations.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing, delivering timely and accurate financial statements.
• Develop and enhance financial controls, policies, processes, and systems to support growth.
• Partner with commercial, supply chain, and operational teams to provide financial insights for decision‑making.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Support strategic initiatives, business transformation projects, and continuous improvement efforts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 15–20 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing or fast‑paced industries.
• Proven leadership experience overseeing end‑to‑end finance operations.
• Strong expertise in financial planning & analysis, accounting, tax, treasury and financial reporting.
• In‑depth knowledge of Turkish accounting and tax regulations.
• Fluent English (mandatory).
