Help Desk Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Help Desk Specialist to join our Information Technologies Department at the head office in Kağıthane, Istanbul. You will provide first‑line technical support to internal users, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and network services.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to technical support requests via phone, email, and live chat.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and operating system issues.
• Maintain accurate records of support tickets and follow‑up actions.
• Update and manage IT inventory and asset records.
• Assist with new system installations, improvement projects, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Promote knowledge sharing within the IT team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Electrical‑Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the IT sector, including at least 2 years in help‑desk or L1 support.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and customer‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively with business units and motivate team members.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and MS Office.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, WLAN, VLAN).
• Experience with JIRA, Office 365, ManageEngine, Active Directory, and remote desktop tools.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, File Server, DNS, DHCP.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu operating systems.
• ITIL or equivalent certification (preferred).
