Human Resources Specialist – People & Operations

About the role

MEAtec is seeking a proactive People & Operations Specialist to shape its workforce strategy. You will manage recruitment, performance reviews, employee engagement, and ensure HR policies comply with legal standards while supporting the company’s fast‑growing deep‑tech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and enforce HR policies aligned with organizational goals and legal requirements.
• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment processes, from job posting to onboarding, including international hiring.
• Coordinate performance review cycles and track employee development.
• Analyse employee satisfaction data and propose improvement actions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date job descriptions, org charts and salary structures.
• Monitor departmental budgets, optimise resource allocation and report financial data.
• Design and execute employer‑branding and PR campaigns on social media to attract talent.
• Collaborate with external accounting partners to ensure accurate HR‑related financial reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English Literature, Communications, Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of HR experience with a focus on recruitment, budget tracking and employee relations.
• Strong written and verbal English skills; German is a plus.
• Proven experience in international hiring and cross‑border HR management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and work with external accounting services.
