Identity and Access Management (IAM) Security Engineer

About the role

Intertech is looking for an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Security Engineer to manage and maintain enterprise MFA, passwordless and single sign-on (SSO) infrastructures. The role covers installation, configuration, integration, policy management and incident handling of authentication systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and ensure the continuity of enterprise MFA, passwordless and SSO infrastructures.
• Install, configure, update and maintain authentication products.
• Implement authentication integrations with enterprise systems and applications.
• Manage authentication policies and security controls.
• Keep user registration, authentication and access processes running smoothly.
• Monitor performance, availability and security status of the systems.
• Analyze technical issues, respond to incidents and develop permanent solutions.
• Manage logging, monitoring, reporting and SIEM integrations.
• Support business continuity, high availability and disaster recovery processes.
• Take part in evaluating and deploying new authentication technologies.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related engineering field.
• At least 5 years of experience in information technology or information security.
• Experience managing at least one enterprise-grade MFA, passwordless or SSO solution.
• Experience implementing, configuring, integrating and operating authentication systems.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Identity and access management, multi-factor authentication, passwordless authentication and single sign-on.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, LDAP, RADIUS, SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Windows and Linux server administration and troubleshooting.
• Log analysis, error detection and root cause analysis.
