Indirect Buyer

About the role

We are looking for an Indirect Buyer to join the Procurement team at our Susurluk factory in Turkey. Reporting to the Indirect Procurement Manager, you will support the company’s cost‑efficiency goals by managing non‑production related purchases and supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze company needs for indirect procurement and develop strategic plans.
• Monitor market trends to identify optimal suppliers and pricing opportunities.
• Create cost‑saving initiatives and ensure sustainable procurement strategies.
• Manage relationships with existing and potential suppliers to guarantee high‑quality service.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure the best value for the company.
• Develop supplier evaluation and performance‑tracking mechanisms.
• Improve procurement processes through automation and best practices.
• Implement cost‑control measures and risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs.
• Provide regular reports on procurement performance, savings, and market developments.
• Support company‑wide initiatives related to cost efficiency and supplier sustainability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from a reputable university.
• Preferably 4+ years of experience in procurement; food‑industry experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
• Analytical thinking and result‑driven mindset.
• Agility, quick learning, and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑change environment.
