Indirect Purchasing Category Assistant – Smart Start (Petro‑Chemistry)

About the role

Join Bosch Group in Istanbul as an Indirect Purchasing Category Assistant for the Smart Start program in the petro‑chemistry field. This long‑term internship gives you hands‑on experience supporting the Demand & Sourcing Manager and participating in real procurement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Demand & Sourcing Manager with purchasing of petro‑chemistry materials.
• Prepare and follow up on requests for quotations and tender documents.
• Support project creation, cost‑saving initiatives, and negotiation preparation.
• Help resolve complex supplier issues and implement permanent solutions.
• Coordinate operational tasks with internal customers and maintain supplier communication.
• Update supplier information using digital tools.

Required profile

• 3rd or 4th year Bachelor or Master student in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, International Relations, Public Relations or related fields.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Available to work at least 3 days per week and for a minimum of 11 months during the academic period.
• Resides in Istanbul.
• Strong coordination, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
