Inside Sales Specialist – IT Solutions

About the role

The Inside Sales Specialist will focus on internal sales for a specific sub‑business unit, handling quotes, orders and customer relationships. You will work under supervision, leveraging deep product knowledge to generate new business and meet revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships through proactive engagement and specialist product knowledge.
• Generate new business by planning outbound calls and discussing solutions across product areas.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and margin targets while managing backorders and project opportunities.
• Provide accurate quotations, negotiate pricing, special offers and promotions.
• Maintain the CRM system with up‑to‑date pipeline information and ensure timely closure of opportunities.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers and pre‑sales teams for technical requirements.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of sales experience with strong numeracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent telephone manner, effective communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet set targets and understand the sales process.
