Internal Auditor

About the role

Ronesans Holding is looking for a motivated Internal Auditor to join its Internal Audit Department in Istanbul. The role involves conducting risk‑based audits, evaluating internal controls, and supporting continuous improvement across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in risk‑based internal audit engagements covering financial and operational areas.
• Assess internal control structures and verify compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Document audit evidence, prepare working papers and draft audit reports in line with audit standards.
• Collaborate with process owners to discuss findings and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and control effectiveness.
• Support audit fieldwork, testing, data analysis and evidence collection.
• Attend meetings to understand business processes and provide analytical support to the audit team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Law, Political Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Banking & Finance or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of financial and operational audit experience in banks or audit firms.
• Preferably holds a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation; additional certifications are a plus.
• Experience leading audit engagements and strong knowledge of risk management and control frameworks.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
