Internal Auditor

About the role

Koçtaş is seeking an Internal Auditor to join its Internal Audit and Risk Management Department. You will support risk‑based audit planning, execute high‑quality financial and process audits, and contribute to the continuous improvement of control mechanisms.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing risk‑based annual audit plans and ensure timely execution of audits.
• Conduct independent financial and process audits following the defined methodology.
• Plan and perform store audits using checklists and meet targeted timelines.
• Participate in fraud, corruption, and special investigation audits, ensuring compliance with ethical and confidentiality standards.
• Support digital audit initiatives, including remote audit processes, continuous monitoring, and data analytics.
• Develop preventive and detective controls using data analytics and, where possible, RPA tools.
• Utilize SAP for audit activities and prepare reports with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Finance, Industrial Engineering or Business Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in internal audit within corporate environments or audit firms.
• Fluent English and ability to work intensive, flexible hours.
• Strong negotiation and stress‑management capabilities.
• No travel restrictions and a valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Knowledge of International Internal Auditing Standards.
• Experience with SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with data analytics, continuous monitoring and digital audit tools.
• Basic understanding of RPA or similar automation technologies.
