About the role

The International Outstanding and Early-Stage Researchers Program invites top‑tier PhD holders to conduct high‑impact research in Turkey across several cutting‑edge automotive domains, including Software Defined Vehicles, Artificial Intelligence, Power Electronics, and Batteries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and modify advanced SDV, AI, power‑electronics, or battery management functions.
• Survey state‑of‑the‑art technologies and methods, and integrate them into research projects.
• Design, code, test, document and maintain software solutions in MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, Python or other relevant languages.
• Conduct requirements engineering, management and safety analyses (e.g., FMEA, ASPICE, ISO 26262).

Required profile

• PhD in a relevant engineering or computer science discipline.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• For Outstanding Researchers: top‑cited or experience at top‑ranked universities/companies.
• For Early‑Stage Researchers: under 40 years old with recent post‑doctoral or research experience abroad.

Required skills

• Programming: C, C++, Python, C#, Java.
• Model‑based design: MATLAB/Simulink, LTspice, PLECS, ANSYS.
• Automotive software: AUTOSAR Classic & Adaptive, QNX, Linux, RTOS, Ethernet, SOME/IP.
• AI/ML: model generation, training, inference, language models, cyber‑security algorithms.
• Power electronics: multi‑level converters, wide‑bandgap devices, gate drivers.
• Battery systems: BMS development, automotive‑grade cells, HiL simulation tools.
