Technical Support Engineer - Safety Products (German Speaker)

About the role

The Technical Support Engineer provides Level 1 technical support for Eaton's Safety Products portfolio, assisting internal and external customers, sales teams, and channel partners via phone, email, web tickets, or chat.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 technical support for safety products through multiple channels.
• Deliver pre‑sales and after‑sales assistance, including product selection, application support, and troubleshooting.
• Resolve standard inquiries and escalate complex cases to Level 2 support, product managers, or R&D.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and contribute to the knowledge base.
• Drive customer satisfaction with timely, high‑quality service.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and service quality.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or BSc in Electrical Engineering.
• Previous experience in technical or customer support is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome.
• Good understanding of electrical products and applications.
• Proficient in English and German (C1 level or above).
