iOS Developer (AI-Native, Hybrid)

About the role

PlusMinusOne is a mobile startup studio developing and marketing its own apps, reaching more than half a million new users per month in the US market. It works in a hybrid model with offices in San Francisco and Istanbul and has built mobile products for Business, Photo & Video and Education since 2016. It is looking for an iOS Developer to help shape the future of mobile, working with AI coding tools in the loop.

Key responsibilities

• Develop native iOS apps end to end, using AI to specify tasks, orchestrate generation and own the final quality of shipped code.
• Build and maintain the team's development toolkit: skills, rules, instruction files, pipelines and automations.
• Act as the engineering quality gate: review AI- and human-written code, harden the architecture and keep guardrails sharp.
• Guide non-engineers (PMs, designers) building with AI, review their output and turn recurring fixes into reusable tools.
• Run experiments, contribute to automated testing and auto-fix infrastructure, and take part in technical design.
• Work closely with product in an agile environment, including reviews and pairing.
• Evaluate new AI tools, measure their impact and adopt what works.

Required profile

• 1-4 years of proven native iOS experience with Swift.
• Strong design fundamentals (OOP, design patterns, POP, SOLID) and solid Swift concurrency knowledge.
• Experience with VIPER, MVVM and Clean Swift; fluent Git; third-party SDK integration.
• BS/MS in CS, Engineering or related, or equivalent practical experience.
• Bonus: custom skills or agent tools, agent-driven test loops, spec-driven development, on-device AI frameworks.
