Maintenance Manager

About the role

PepsiCo is seeking a Maintenance Manager to ensure the continuous, efficient operation of its plant. The role focuses on planning, budgeting, and executing maintenance and repair activities while driving technology adoption and sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and direct technical system functions across the plant.
• Plan optimal maintenance, repair, and investment needs in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Manage the plant maintenance budget, ensuring resources align with the plan.
• Coordinate and continuously develop the Plant Recon System.
• Oversee spare‑parts warehouse operations, stock optimization, and cost‑reduction efforts.
• Prepare and report plant energy consumption, energy cost, maintenance budget, stock inventory, labor cost, CAPEX, and contractor costs.
• Manage utilities operation, repair, and maintenance agenda.
• Lead energy‑efficiency projects and monitor sustainability targets.
• Prepare technical specifications for new machines and equipment, evaluate feasibility, and support investment plan approvals.
• Ensure health, safety, environment, and food‑safety standards are integrated into all projects.
• Control fixed‑asset operations for new equipment purchases.
• Research emerging technologies and communicate findings to leadership.
• Maintain relationships with government agencies and coordinate contractor activities during installations.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading plant maintenance teams and technical system functions.
• Strong background in maintenance budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute large‑scale maintenance and capital projects.
• Experience with energy management, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
• Effective communication with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and contractors.
