Material Planning Engineer (M/F)

About the role

Reporting to the Operational Procurement Unit Manager, you will be responsible for end‑to‑end material planning to ensure on‑time delivery aligned with production schedules at our Izmir site.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and guarantee material availability according to production plans and demand.
• Execute ordering activities for the assigned product group based on planning outputs and approved requirements.
• Track purchase order confirmations to ensure quantities and delivery dates match the plan.
• Reschedule orders when requirements change, updating dates and quantities as needed.
• Coordinate with the Logistics team to trigger shipment of ready‑to‑ship materials.
• Manage scrap and replacement orders, planning replacements in line with identified scrap quantities.
• Translate production requirements into material needs and monitor inventory levels.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or a related BSc.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar material planning role.
• Strong command of spoken and written English for international communication.
• Analytical mindset with proactive problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP.
