Mobile Engineer (Android)

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Engineer specialized in Android to join our fast‑growing e‑commerce team. You will work on consumer‑facing applications that support our retail and food‑delivery brands, ensuring high performance, security, and an excellent user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications released on Google Play.
• Implement secure payment flows and transaction handling for e‑commerce and banking‑related features.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams in an agile environment.
• Write unit and automated UI tests to guarantee code quality.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage version control using Git.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Android development experience.
• Experience publishing and supporting apps on the Google Play Store.
• Background in banking or e‑commerce applications with a focus on secure transactions.

Required skills

• Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Android SDK and AndroidX Architecture Components (Data Binding, LiveData, Room, Lifecycle).
• Modern architectural patterns such as MVVM.
• Unit testing and automated testing frameworks for Android.
• Git version control, including branching and merging strategies.
• Dependency injection and networking libraries (Dagger, Hilt, Retrofit).
• Google Mobile Services (Location, Maps, Places, FCM).
• Knowledge of payment system integration.
• Familiarity with Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) or Yandex MapKit is a plus.
