Network Planning Supervisor

About the role

The Network Planning Supervisor leads the planning and coordination of outbound feeder ground operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency across all logistics activities. This role combines resource management, system optimization, and cross‑department collaboration to keep the flow of goods smooth and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and balance feeder operations, positioning containers and loading flights and vans in compliance with regulations.
• Supervise, develop, and mentor department personnel, fostering a high‑performance, team‑oriented environment.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies, operational procedures, and local government requirements.
• Oversee data movement from planning to production, coordinating with other departments for seamless execution.
• Maintain the Network Information System (NIS) and other planning tools, supporting both Planning and IT teams.
• Provide orientation, skills training, and continuous development for team members.
• Manage shift‑based planning activities, ensuring timely and accurate loading procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year institution.
• Proven experience in logistics or ground operations planning.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to work flexible shifts to meet operational demands.

Required skills

• Network Information System (NIS) proficiency.
• Familiarity with planning tools and data management.
