OEM Sales Manager

About the role

Mutlu Akü is seeking an experienced OEM Sales Manager to lead and expand relationships with global and local automotive OEM customers. The role involves developing long‑term business plans, negotiating contracts, and driving sales performance across domestic and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and strengthen corporate relationships with automotive OEMs such as Ford, Toyota, and Renault.
• Develop long‑term business plans and lead end‑to‑end contract negotiations.
• Achieve sales volume, gross margin, and profitability targets while handling raw material indexation, price adjustments, and warranty/claim processes.
• Monitor global automotive regulations, electrification trends, and the shift toward Lithium‑Ion technologies to identify new business opportunities.
• Coordinate customer requirements with Production, R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure supply continuity.
• Lead and develop the OEM Sales team, fostering an agile, collaborative, high‑performance environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical) or Business Administration/Economics.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive OEM or Tier‑1 environment, with strong B2B technical sales and key account management background.
• Advanced proficiency in English for global negotiations, presentations, and reporting.
• Resilient under pressure, with strong decision‑making in high‑stress situations.
• Solid financial acumen, cost analysis, pricing strategies, and contract management knowledge.
• Proven leadership skills, initiative, and ownership in complex business scenarios.
