On-Prem Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The On-Prem Infrastructure Engineer will ensure the stability, security, and performance of our enterprise datacenter environment in Izmir. You will work with Windows Server, virtualization, storage, and backup technologies to support critical business applications and participate in an on‑call rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, including AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, PKI, IIS, and File & Print services.
• Manage Hyper‑V and VMware vSphere/ESXi clusters, hosts, VMs, vCenter, HA, DRS, and vMotion.
• Support SAN/NAS platforms (IBM FlashSystem, Dell PowerStore, NetApp, iSCSI, NFS, SMB) – provisioning, replication, performance tuning.
• Partner with backup teams for restore validation, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Patch, harden, and tune servers, virtual machines, and storage; provide 3rd‑level incident support.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, configuration baselines, and operational standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years hands‑on experience managing Windows Server environments in enterprise/datacenter settings.
• 3+ years virtualization administration (Hyper‑V and/or VMware) in multi‑host or multi‑cluster environments.
• Experience with enterprise storage solutions and backup/disaster‑recovery processes.
• Ability to participate in on‑call rotation and respond to critical incidents outside business hours.
