Operations Controller - Turkey

About the role

EssilorLuxottica is seeking an Operations Controller to support its Turkey operations, based in Istanbul with regular visits to Ankara. You will ensure accurate financial planning, reporting, and cost control for manufacturing and supply‑chain activities, aligning with group standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse budget, forecast and monthly variance reports for Turkey operations.
• Standardise financial reporting and planning in line with EMEA standards.
• Monitor COGS evolution, manufacturing expenses, material consumption and imported lenses.
• Perform monthly inventory provisions according to group guidelines.
• Track manufacturing and warehousing investments (Capex, Opex) and develop business cases for transformation programmes.
• Provide detailed explanations of cost variances for RX and supply‑chain activities.
• Support mid‑term financial planning and ensure timely Capex control.
• Travel regularly to other Turkish sites to coordinate finance activities.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Finance.
• 5‑10 years of experience in finance functions, preferably within operations and manufacturing.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Solid understanding of financial manufacturing activities and related planning.
