Platform Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a senior Platform Engineer to shape the internal tooling that powers our engineering teams. You will design, build, and maintain high‑impact developer tools—including CLI applications, CI/CD frameworks, data access libraries, and self‑service platform capabilities—to accelerate software delivery across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain modular, secure, and scalable internal tools and libraries.
• Build and evolve applications that streamline environment provisioning and day‑to‑day developer workflows.
• Design next‑generation CI/CD pipelines and promote GitOps‑based deployment practices.
• Create internal data‑access SDKs that provide consistent, performant, and secure access to data stores.
• Identify repetitive engineering pain points and deliver reusable automation.
• Lead design discussions, conduct code reviews, and champion DevOps principles.
• Mentor junior engineers through pairing and thoughtful feedback.
• Evaluate emerging technologies through proofs of concept and recommend adoption.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of professional software engineering experience building production systems at scale.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in integrating AI coding assistants, CLIs, and Model Context Protocols into development workflows.
• Experience balancing AI‑driven productivity with rigorous testing and quality safeguards.

Required skills

• Python (deep expertise in OOP, design patterns, packaging, and dependency management).
• CI/CD pipeline development and GitOps workflows.
• AI coding assistants and Model Context Protocols (MCPs).
• Software architecture and design of loosely coupled systems.
