Presales Engineer - XDR & Threat Intelligence

About the role

Group-IB, a cybersecurity technology company founded in 2003 and headquartered in Singapore, is hiring a presales engineer for its pre-sales team in Turkey. You will work with Group-IB clients to deliver deployment and customization of solutions at the customer site, acting as a technical advisor who ensures successful solutions and supports the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with internal stakeholders such as field sales, channel partners, engineering teams and marketing to support business development.
• Take part in pre-sales activities: Proof of Concepts, solution scoping and architecture (HLD, LLD), BOQ, proposals, product presentations, and technical training for channel partners and clients.
• Act as a trusted advisor to understand clients' technical and business objectives and map them to Group-IB's products, while managing client expectations.
• Engage key technical decision-makers and present the value proposition to technical and business audiences, including C-level executives.
• Prepare project documentation and respond to complex RFIs and RFPs; define the product implementation architecture.
• Manage pre-sale project activities and ensure solutions work on pilots and during subscription, aligned with client use cases, integration needs and post-sales support.
• Qualify opportunities, give feedback to Product Management on product requirements, and collaborate with marketing on events such as trade shows and workshops.
• A major focus will be on XDR and Threat Intelligence, and other regional deals in the Group-IB portfolio.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an information security pre-sales role.
• Fluent Turkish and English, written and spoken.
• Client-centric mindset, able to take ownership of opportunities and work with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills, and a strong passion for cybersecurity.
• Professional security qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, GIAC or CCIE are highly desirable.

Required skills

• Hands-on knowledge of networking fundamentals (routing and switching, protocols, DNS, DHCP, IP, OSI/ISO, SSL, VPN, VLAN, etc.)
• Familiarity with NIST and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks
• Cybersecurity solutions: NTA, IPS/IDS, firewalls, email security, sandboxing, antivirus/EDR, XDR and Threat Intelligence platforms
• Threat hunting and incident response in an operational SOC environment
