About the role
The client seeks an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing of agricultural products, livestock and related services, aligning procurement activities with overall business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for agricultural and livestock goods, ensuring cost efficiency, quality and timely delivery.
- Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes, including tendering, supplier selection, contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
- Lead the procurement team, coordinate with Legal, Finance and technical departments, and monitor budgets and KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, relevant regulations, animal welfare standards and market developments.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of procurement experience, preferably in agriculture and livestock.
- Proven leadership, strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Results‑oriented, proactive and capable of handling multiple priorities.
Required skills
- Strong command of MS Office applications.
- Experience with SAP procurement modules.
