Product PR Manager

About the role

The Product PR Manager will lead OPPO’s product communication strategy in the Turkish market, ensuring strong media exposure and a positive brand perception across tech media, social platforms and consumer channels. This role combines deep smartphone knowledge with extensive media relationships to deliver compelling product stories.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute product PR content strategies that highlight product strengths and innovations.
• Create and oversee high‑quality tech reviews, PR articles, and in‑depth product analyses for media, social and video channels.
• Maintain and expand relationships with key tech media, YouTube reviewers and industry journalists to maximise product exposure.
• Manage review‑unit distribution and coordinate with KOLs and influencers for broader reach.
• Monitor media feedback and consumer discussions post‑launch, analyse public sentiment and mitigate PR risks.
• Benchmark competitor PR activities and provide strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with marketing, social media and product teams to align PR activities with business objectives.
• Participate in major marketing events to support product PR content creation and maximise exposure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in PR, media relations or product communications, preferably in consumer electronics or smartphones.
• Strong understanding of smartphone technology and market trends.
• Established relationships with local tech media, journalists and reviewers.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Turkish is a plus.
