Quality Engineer

About the role

Fater is seeking a motivated Quality Engineer to join its QA team at the Gebze plant. You will ensure that all quality activities meet internal standards and statutory regulations while supporting continuous improvement across production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of all QA activities with internal and statutory requirements.
• Supervise daily site quality work and maintain quality standards for raw materials, semi‑finished goods, and finished products.
• Prepare, set, and track QA standards, procedures, and audit plans (internal & external).
• Participate in change‑management projects and provide feedback on QA issues.
• Support quality awareness training for all employees.
• Maintain internal and external quality databases and manage customer complaint processes.
• Identify loss‑reduction opportunities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and validate analytical methods, documenting them in SOPs.
• Investigate product and process deviations, determine root causes, and drive corrective actions.

Required profile

• University degree in Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a production environment with quality responsibilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
• No military obligation for male candidates.
