Quality Engineer – Wind Farm Construction

About the role

The Quality Engineer will oversee the quality management of wind farm construction projects in Ankara, ensuring that all activities meet defined standards and contribute to successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with project and organizational goals.
• Collaborate with the project manager to create quality plans for each project phase and define performance indicators.
• Conduct regular quality assurance audits, identify non‑conformities, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality activities and produce regular performance reports for stakeholders.
• Deliver training and awareness programs to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Identify and assess quality‑related risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate and monitor suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Vision’s quality standards as well as industry regulations and certifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in quality management, engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience in project quality management, preferably in construction or renewable energy.
• Relevant quality management certification (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality/Organizational Excellence Manager) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of quality management principles, standards and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with quality management tools and software.
• Quality auditing experience.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma or other process‑improvement methodologies.
