Road Freight Operation Specialist

About the role

DP World is seeking a Road Freight Operation Specialist to manage end‑to‑end international road freight operations in Istanbul. You will work closely with carriers, business partners and customers to ensure shipments are executed efficiently and on time while supporting pricing and reporting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily international road freight operations in line with customer requirements and company standards.
• Coordinate full‑truck‑load (FTL) and less‑than‑truck‑load (LTL) shipments from booking through final delivery.
• Communicate with carriers, agents and partners to secure capacity and competitive transportation solutions.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively inform customers of any delays or issues.
• Support pricing and tender processes by gathering market rates and carrier quotations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including CMRs, invoices and customs‑related papers.
• Update operational systems promptly for tracking and reporting.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• 1–2 years of experience in international road freight operations.
• Knowledge of domestic and international transportation routes and trade corridors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Turkish and English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS) or similar logistics platforms.
