Sales Manager – Life Sciences (Personal Care, Nutraceuticals, I&I, Perfume & Fragrance)

About the role

The Sales Manager – Life Sciences will manage and grow a portfolio covering Personal Care, Nutraceuticals, Household & Industrial (I&I) Cleaning, and Perfume & Fragrance ingredients. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Ümraniye and offers a long‑term career within an established chemical distribution business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop sales strategies, identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Visit clients’ R&D and procurement teams, deliver documentation and samples, and follow product approval processes.
• Present product solutions, negotiate contracts and prices, prepare quotations and ensure timely order delivery.
• Collaborate with supply chain, technical and marketing teams to support product launches and optimise stock and forecasting.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and regulatory developments to guide commercial decisions and achieve sales and margin targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of sales or business development experience in chemicals, ingredients or related life‑science sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, Business or equivalent professional experience.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel 70‑80 % of the time.
• Fluency in written and spoken Turkish and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Understanding of basic chemical principles, formulations or applications relevant to at least one covered sector.
