Senior Accounting Specialist

About the role

Getmobil is seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist to join its finance team in Istanbul. The role focuses on managing invoicing, vendor reconciliations, and month‑end closing activities while ensuring compliance with Turkish accounting regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and record sales invoices in the accounting system.
• Process purchase e‑invoices and e‑archive invoices accurately.
• Manage e‑Ledger (e‑Defter) and e‑Invoice (e‑Fatura) processes in line with Turkish legislation.
• Perform monthly vendor account reconciliations.
• Review employee expense claims and current account balances.
• Record daily bank transactions and ensure accurate postings.
• Review trial balance accounts and carry out necessary reconciliations.
• Track and account for insurance policies and endorsements.
• Support month‑end closing activities and other accounting operations.
• Execute additional accounting duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Logo Tiger ERP.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of Turkish tax legislation, Commercial Code, and TMS/TFRS.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaborative mindset.
• Based in Istanbul or willing to relocate.
