Senior Android Developer

About the role

Extra360, a technology company building loyalty, digital wallet and payments solutions, is looking for a Senior Android Developer. The role involves designing, testing and implementing mobile applications in Java and Kotlin, working in agile teams and supporting production deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, test and implement software applications.
• Analyse requirements and design solutions accordingly.
• Write code in Java and Kotlin following design patterns, unit tests, reviews and refactoring.
• Support production deployment and post-production issues, troubleshooting problems as they arise.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on mobile app development experience.
• Experience in Android application development and in agile teams.
• Ability to write clear, well-documented code and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• Java and Kotlin, Android SDK, MVVM/MVP patterns and third-party libraries and APIs.
• Object-oriented design and design patterns.
• Web services, RESTful architecture and JSON in mobile implementations.
• Git, GitHub and CI; API design experience is a plus.
