Senior Bakery Instructor & School Manager

About the role

Puratos is seeking a passionate Senior Bakery Instructor and Bakery School Manager to lead technical training programs and oversee the daily operations of its Istanbul Bakery School. You will inspire students, customers, and industry professionals while ensuring the school meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging bakery, patisserie, and chocolate training sessions, both theoretical and hands‑on.
• Develop, update, and improve training materials, recipes, and learning content.
• Assess participant progress, provide coaching, and mentor junior instructors.
• Manage day‑to‑day school operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and equipment maintenance.
• Maintain hygiene, food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards.
• Drive continuous operational improvements and ensure compliance with internal procedures and local regulations.
• Support student selection, onboarding, career guidance, and build relationships with vocational schools and industry partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in bakery, patisserie, chocolate, or related food production.
• Proven background in technical training, coaching, or knowledge transfer.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluent in Turkish and English.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety, and quality systems.
