Senior Lawyer

About the role

ING is seeking a Senior Lawyer to provide legal expertise across its banking and capital‑markets activities. You will support multiple business lines, ensuring compliance and delivering high‑quality legal advice.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and review a variety of contracts, with a focus on lending, capital markets and banking services.
• Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws, ING policies and internal procedures.
• Prepare legal opinions and provide consultancy on regulatory and contractual matters.
• Handle legal issues related to core banking, lending, capital‑market products, payment systems and corporate banking.
• Offer daily legal support to business units such as WB, FM, FI and TS.
• Monitor legislative updates, draft opinions on new issues and assist the legislation and corporate secretariat teams.

Required profile

• Law degree with a valid lawyer’s licence and bar admission; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• 2‑6 years of relevant experience, preferably in banks, financial institutions or reputable law firms.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Turkish.
• Familiarity with core banking, lending products and electronic banking/payment systems is advantageous.
• Strong communication, meticulous approach, high sense of responsibility and ability to follow‑up.

• Ability to use AI tools and collaborate effectively in a team.
