Senior Lounge Agent – Istanbul

About the role

Emirates is opening a new lounge at Istanbul Airport and seeks a Senior Lounge Agent to support the launch and daily operations. The role combines premium customer service with operational oversight of service partners and the lounge environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome eligible passengers, introduce lounge services and provide personalised assistance.
• Coordinate with the Lounge Supervisor to oversee catering, cleaning and maintenance, ensuring the lounge remains presentable and fully operational.
• Assist customers with airport services such as seat changes, boarding passes, transit check‑in, reservation changes and lounge boarding.
• Provide flight information, handle queries and complaints, and take corrective actions to maintain customer confidence.
• Manage stock, record operational data, monitor meal wastage and consumable costs, and complete audits as directed.
• Occasionally support ticket desk functions and broader airport operations.

Required profile

• Minimum three years experience in airline or hotel hospitality, preferably in a premium environment.
• Proven experience leading or managing a high‑end hospitality service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Turkish and English.
• Legal right to live and work in Turkey and ability to obtain a full airport pass for Istanbul Airport.
