Senior Process Quality Engineer

About the role

The Senior Process Quality Engineer ensures that manufacturing processes and internally produced components meet the highest quality standards throughout the production lifecycle. Working closely with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain teams, the role drives defect reduction, improves process capability and strengthens overall operational quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead process quality improvement activities, root‑cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions.
• Perform quality controls, visual and dimensional inspections, partial discharge and leakage tests for machinery, resin, silicon and sheet‑metal parts.
• Create and maintain quality control plans, control periods and inspection instructions.
• Approve or reject first‑sample parts and conduct PPAP and PFMEA studies on‑site.
• Support APQP, new product introduction, process validation and control‑plan development.
• Monitor process quality KPIs, identify improvement opportunities and lead continuous‑improvement projects.
• Supervise, coach and evaluate a team of three Quality Operators.
• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of findings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical or Materials Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control within an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001; IATF 16949 is a plus.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications.
• Willingness to work onsite, including occasional weekend shifts.
• Intermediate level of English.

• Structured problem‑solving tools: 8D, A3, Root‑Cause Analysis.
• Technical drawing interpretation.
• Quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
