Senior Project Associate (Training)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Project Associate (Training) to support the implementation of the “Provision of Jobs and Socio‑Economic Inclusion to Support Transition to Formal Employment in Türkiye” project. Working under the Senior Programme Coordinator in Ankara, you will help ensure the project delivers its objectives for vulnerable migrants and refugees.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, monitoring and reporting on project activities related to job creation and socio‑economic inclusion.
• Coordinate with governmental authorities, UN agencies, NGOs and other partners to facilitate project implementation.
• Support data collection, analysis and documentation of outcomes for donor reporting.
• Provide logistical and administrative support for training sessions and stakeholder meetings.
• Contribute to the development of project tools, guidelines and communication materials.

Required profile

• High school diploma with at least six years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree in political/social sciences, international relations, development studies, migration studies, human rights, law or related fields with four years of experience.
• Proven experience liaising with government bodies, UN agencies and NGOs in migration management.
• Hands‑on work with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, trafficking victims or other vulnerable groups.
• Previous experience in an international humanitarian or development setting is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of labour migration, livelihood issues and UN/bilateral donor processes.
