Senior Software Engineer – Air Defense C2 Systems

About the role

Atos is expanding its defence‑industry team in Ankara and is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to large‑scale, cutting‑edge air‑defence command and control systems. You will work on impactful projects that support the development of secure, high‑performance solutions for the defence sector.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse user requirements and translate them into detailed software specifications.
• Participate actively in the design, development, and maintenance of C#/.NET applications.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs (XML, JSON) and front‑end components using Angular (v10+) and TypeScript.
• Perform unit testing, code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Ensure code quality, performance optimisation, and adherence to Atos processes and industry standards.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams and follow DevOps and CI practices.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of proven software development experience.
• Strong debugging, performance optimisation and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required skills

• C# and .NET Framework development.
• RESTful API design and integration (XML, JSON).
• Angular (v10+) and TypeScript (React experience is a plus).
• ORM frameworks, concurrency management, loading strategies, validation and caching.
• Source control tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, TFS or ClearCase.
• Continuous Integration and DevOps concepts.
• Object‑oriented programming, SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Front‑end architecture and component‑based development.
