Smart Start Development Engineer – Data, Digitalization & AI Internship

About the role

We are looking for a motivated student to join Bosch Group in Bursa as a Smart Start Development Engineer focusing on data, digitalization and AI. The internship offers hands‑on experience in supporting validation and digitalization teams within our Gasoline Injection Systems business.

Key responsibilities

• Support validation and digitalization teams through data‑driven problem solving.
• Contribute to Industry 4.0 projects aligned with Bosch’s digitalization strategy.
• Participate in calibration and activity transfer projects across Bosch plants.
• Maintain and improve database solutions.
• Collaborate with the international developer network and share knowledge.

Required profile

• 3rd or 4th‑year undergraduate or postgraduate student in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Physics, Software Engineering or related fields.
• Strong command of English; German is a plus.
• Interest in data analytics, digitalization and AI solutions.
• Collaborative, customer‑oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office tools.
• Programming experience, preferably Python.
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence concepts.
• Knowledge of Power BI, SAP or other Industry 4.0 applications is a plus.
